A graduate of Sussex and London universities, Prodeepta Das is passionate about photography. Coming from a background of literature, his images are a creative mix of the literary and the visual imagination. He has photographed for over thirty books and magazines as well as development agencies and corporations. His images have been  used by A&C Black, Collins , Frances Lincoln , Heinemann, Hodder Headline, John Murray, Longman, Oxford University Press, American Express, Developments, The Observer, The Times Educational Supplement, Help Age International, Save the Children and UNICEF.

He has exhibited widely in galleries including the Barbican, Camerawork, the Commonwealth Institute, Leeds City Art Gallery , Mall Galleries, Photographers' Gallery, Salford Art Gallery , Vancouver City Art Gallery and Warwick University .

He is based in London but undertakes assignments anywhere in the world.
